Any of you Gotham-ites out there notice a little more “THWAM!” in the way our Caped Crusader dispatches his foes these days? That’s because Hollywood has rolled out the red carpet for some new and truly awesome martial arts. The Keysi Fighting Method or KFM has become a hero’s success. KFM originators Justo Dieguez Serrano and Andy Norman will be teaming up with Galatia Films and many others for an upcoming feature documentary showcasing not only the big-screen adaptations such as in the new Batman films, but the birth and rise of KFM on the streets of Spain, and it’s harsher, off-screen nature. No offense to the Great Adam West, but I’d rather take a “KaPow!” haymaker from the old days than a Keysi-Christian-Bale-elbow-crack, wouldn’t you? And he’s using the PG-13 version.
Reclaiming the Blade will be hitting shelves in the UK soon after the 3rd of May, 2010 with the help of our friends at Anchor Bay, a Starz company. Anchor Bay Entertainment is one of the top suppliers of entertainment, film and television, in the US and internationally, boasting a library of over 3,500 titles available for retail, theaters, internet, etc. Galatia Films is proud to join their ranks with some of the most influential films in history.

Reclaiming the Blade held the top position in the documentary category on Apple iTunes for several weeks this summer. Lord of the Rings stars Viggo Mortensen, Karl Urban, John Rhys-Davies, John Howe and Richard Taylor join with legendary Hollywood sword master and fight choreographer Bob Anderson to celebrate the history of the sword.
